Welcome to the Coconut Cottage! 2 bedroom/2 bath cottage located a short walk to pristine Vilano Beach, Saint Augustine Florida. This home features a spacious kitchen and family room with private back yard and hidden front porch. Get cozy inside your private hot tub at the end of a relaxing day on the shore. Grill out on the back patient  next to the bubbling fountain while chatting with your favorite companions. The back deck includes BBQ grill, table with umbrella, casual furniture and is fully fenced in. Private driveway to accommodate up to 3 cars.

The cottage is designed to accommodate parties of 6 or less; recommended for 1-2 couples with up to 2 children, families and honeymooners. Master bedroom has queen adjustable Serta mattress bed with ensuite bathroom featuring double vanity and walk in shower. The second bedroom has adjacent bathroom with single vanity and shower. Living room, dining room and kitchen are spacious enough to gather together. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cook ware & utensils, pots/pans, appliances, paper goods and basic spices etc. The dining room will accommodate up to 6 guests seated. All rooms have Smart flat screen TVs. In unit washer & dryer.

Located in the North Beach area of Vilano Beach Saint Augustine, the neighborhood is residential and quiet, and within walking distance to the beach & local waterfront restaurants. Awaiting nearby, spectacular sandy shores are uncrowded and perfect for lounging, hunting sea shells & shark’s teeth as well as fishing and surfing. Head to the shore in the morning with a beach chair and pole then cruise the quiet neighborhood to Aunt Kate’s Restaurant or Caps on the Water to share a drink at sunset. Check out the famous hammock and estuaries of Guana River State Park 4 miles away. There are ENDLESS ways to revel in coastal North Florida at its best.

The neighborhood is residential and quiet, and within walking distance, to the beach, intracoastal, Usina Boat Ramp, Reef restaurant, Aunt Kate's restaurant as well as Cap's restaurant on the water. Located 2 miles from Publix supermarket, 2.5 miles to water taxis and tours from the Vilano pier, 4 miles to Historic town and trolleys. World Golf Village is 10 miles away. Only 3 miles North, check out the famous hammocks and estuaries of Guana River State Park and Marine Science Center. There are ENDLESS ways to revel in coastal North Florida at its best. There are several great surf spots around town. From strong beach break barrels to softer more beginner style waves, we have it all. Depending on swell and tide we can recommend the best spots for the time you are staying. Most of the time its pretty fun and uncrowded right out back.
Fishing? Oh yes, anyway you like to fish, any size you want to bring home, St. Johns county has it. Offshore charters, inshore charters, kayak or paddle board fishing, flood tide, fresh water, piers and jetties. 

If golfing is your thing, there are some of the best courses in the world in the area. From TPC Sawgrass, World Golf, to Hammock Dunes, you can play them all and drive less than 30 miles away. Or have a few beverages with friends and family at Topgolf's three story luxury driving range. 
It's never a bad idea just to walk on the beach for sunrise with dolphins and sea birds, walk down to the dock on the intracoastal to watch a sunset, just to stroll back to a warm relaxing spa for a nightly dip or maybe back to the beach for a moonrise walk and look for ghost crabs and sea turtles.

Short walk to the beach, you do have to cross A1A (so please be careful crossing when traveling with small children) approx. 100 meters, short drive to Publix Supermarket (2 miles) and multiple local restaurants, boat taxi and water craft rentals. Historic Downtown St. Augustine and trolley train stain is only 3.5 miles. Enjoy some of the best sunrises and sunsets anywhere on earth.

Just over the Vilano bridge and left on San Marco is The Old Jail where you can board the Trolley Train for a tour of St. Augustine. With 23 stops, you can usually make a full day of it.

There are several local Lyft drivers that are familiar with our home and are a great easy way to get around town.

Guests will have entire home to themselves.
This home is not for large gatherings or parties.
The exterior property is monitored by cameras. For privacy there are NO cameras inside the home or on the spa area. 

Security Hold of $300 for any potential damages, renters agreement signature required. 

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 15 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 15 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
